The Current Poet Laureate.

While the Wisconsin Poet Laureate receives a small honorarium for work during the term of office, individual appearances are not financially supported. The commission encourages organizations requesting an appearance by the Wisconsin Poet Laureate to consider offering an honorarium and/or paying for lodging and mileage, depending on the distance and timing of the engagement.
